We do not rent “party houses” to fraternities, sororities, high school, college, bachelor party, wedding receptions or other such groups. Please respect this policy and do not cause a problem for yourself or us by renting and attempting to use one of our properties for this purpose, as it will not be allowed. Your group will be asked to vacate the premises and there will be no refund. You must be 25 years of age to rent and the person renting the house must be staying at the property. There must be a sufficient number of adults present at all times.

All reservations are firm and non-refundable, except in the event of a hurricane as indicated below. A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit or debit cards.

If paying by credit card, a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance will be charged to your card approximately two weeks prior to arrival. If booking within two weeks of arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

If paying by check, we process checks electronically. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance is due one month prior to arrival. Please make checks payable to Grand Isle Properties, LLC. Do not mail your
check. Checks should be faxed to 504-324-0811. You can also scan and email it, or take a photo of it with your phone or iPad and email or text it.

Damage deposits are returned within 30 days of departure by the same method used for payment.

Cancellations: All reservations are firm and non-refundable.  You are responsible for the full amount of your rental.  If you cancel, the only amount that will be refunded is the damage deposit and cleaning fee. No refunds will be made except in the case of a mandatory evacuation of the island.

Hurricane Policy: In the event of a hurricane, if a mandatory evacuation is ordered by the Mayor of Grand Isle, you will have the option of rescheduling your trip or receiving a refund of any monies paid less a $75 cancellation fee.  If the evacuation occurs during your stay, a prorated amount will be refunded. There are no refunds for tropical storms, inclement weather or voluntary evacuations. If you are traveling during hurricane season, it is suggested that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.
