| For the Good Times is one of the largest houses in
Grand Isle. It is located beachfront, approximately 2.1 miles from the
foot of the bridge. It has lots of parking, decks and porches and lots
of space to spread out. This house is perfect for large groups who
want to be together, but have a certain amount of privacy. Each floor
has a separate entrance with its own kitchen and living area. The
second floor has a large main kitchen and opens onto a screened porch on the
beach side and a large open sundeck on the bay side.
The screened porch with two swings and a great view of
the beach opens onto a 2-story sundeck and observation deck. The
sundeck on the bay side has a privacy wall and built in seating on 3 sides
that can also be used for sunbathing. There is another screened area
on ground level with a fish cleaning area and boiling equipment.
Well behaved, house-broken pets are allowed (no puppies
in the chewing stage). Arrangements must be made in advance. A
refundable damage deposit as well as an additional cleaning fee is required.
The propane tank is provided as a convenience, however,
we do not keep it filled.
